Wat Trimitr: The Temple of the Golden Buddha – the statue of Buddha is made from solid gold weighing 5.5 tons, 3 meters (9.8 ft) tall, It can be disassembled into nine pieces.
Wat Po: The temple of the Reclining Buddha – the largest and oldest in Bangkok, a stunning statue 46 long and 15 m high covered in gold leaf. The wat also houses more than one thousand images of Buddha and is favored among the locals as a place to worship. it was the first public university in Thailand, specializing in religion, science, and literature. It is now more well known as a Centre for traditional massage and medicine.
Wat Benchamabophit or the marble temple: a mixture of Thai and European architecture styles, Constructed from the finest Italian marble.
The Itinerary:
- 07:30: Pick up from the hotel and transfer to Wat Trinit, the temple of the golden Buddha with 5.5 Tones of solid gold, sculptured in Sukhothai style.
- 08:30: Drive through China town the central business district of Bangkok.
- 09:00: Visit Wat Po, the temple of the reclining Buddha, a stunning statue 46 long and 15 M high covered in gold leaf.
- 10:30: Visit the Marble temple, a mixture of Thai and European architecture which houses a unique collects rare Buddha images.
- 12:30: arrive at your hotel.
